I'm happy that I've actually stuck with this Sweet Squares project! It's been quite liberating. I'm really just pushing outside my comfort zone with these...trying to break out of my little artistic shell. Made it just in the nick of time for today's square!
I've tried to make tighter drawings/sketches with my iPad app, but since you can't rest your hand on the iPad while drawing, I've found it to be difficult. As a matter of fact, my hand is pretty tired from holding up the stylus after the short period of time (5 mins) it took to do this Sweet Square. Maybe I just have delicate artists hands (yeah, right). For me, the iPad is best suited for painting with broader strokes. In any case, it's fun!
Ta ta for now!, I'm headed back to the book I'm currently reading. It's absolutely amazing: "Chains" by Laurie Halse Anderson. Check it out. Really.
